Junior Youth

Junior Youth

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12

Who It’s For

Our junior youths are aged between 12 and 17, having just entered secondary school or junior high. During these teenage years, many confess Jesus as their Lord, and are baptised. Energetic and committed, our young adults meet every Sunday for worship and bible classes, followed by smaller discipleship groups for closer fellowship.

When & Where

Worship, 9.30am to 11am
Bible Classes, 11.30am – 12.30pm at #03-04

Why We’re Here

In the Psalms, King David described the sons in their youths as well-nurtured plants, and the daughters as pillars carved to adorn a palace. What pictorial metaphors of God’s plan for our young people!

Youth could be an angst-filled time in life. It is when children first enter adulthood and learn to stand on their own. At this coming of age, our junior youths begin to look for independence and identity. God recognises the energy and courage of our youngsters, and want to fill their hearts with purpose for the future.

What We Do

Every Sunday, our youths gather for a meaningful time of worship in song and praises to the Lord. What follows is time of bible study in smaller breakout groups to grow their faith and understanding of the living God. After church, the youths gather for a time of fellowship over food and getting to know one another.
